International Violin Masterclass

This is a unique opportunity to participate in an intensive online masterclass for talented violin students with internationally acclaimed violinist Kala Ramnath, one of the leading exponents of the Hindustani classical violin tradition.

The masterclass will take place on Saturday 18th April via Zoom (Video Conferencing Platform), allowing students from around the world to participate and learn directly from Kala Ramnath.

Masterclass Schedule

The timings of the masterclass will be:

7 :00PM – 9:00 PM IST (India Standard Time)

Subject: Master your violin technique from first note to fine details.

What You Will Get

As a successful applicant, the student will:

Participate in a 120-minute intensive session
Receive a recording of the Zoom session for future reference
Receive learning materials and notes from the masterclass
Gain valuable insights into violin technique, raga interpretation, and performance practice

Rules & Requirements

Applicants can be beginner, intermediate, or advanced level of violin learning.

Minimum one year of learning experience recommended
Limited seats available (first come, first-served basis)
Please provide details of your musical training (teacher/Guru, number of years of study, etc.)
Kindly take permission from your current teacher before applying
Applicants must submit a short video (up to 3 minutes) of their violin performance to support@kalaramnath.com
Video format should be .mp4 or .mov
