Pre-requisites for Classes
To get the most out of your lessons, please have the following set up before class:
• A violin set up with viola strings, tuned D–A–D–A (no E string).
• A laptop for attending Zoom classes.
• The iTabla Pro app on an iPad or iPhone, or an equivalent tanpura–tabla app for Android, connected via Bluetooth to a speaker so the tanpura and tabla are clearly audible for tuning and daily practice.
• Zoom’s “Original Sound for Musicians” turned on, so echo cancellation and noise suppression are disabled and your music sounds more natural during class.
Attendance, Cancellations, Recordings, and Technical Issues :
• For no-shows, the class fee is non-refundable.
• Class cancellations can be made up to 48 hours before the scheduled class time, and the class may be rescheduled.
• For masterclasses, you can stream the class recording for one month, but downloading is not permitted. After one month, the recording will be archived and can be re-released on request for a fee of 5.99.
• If we experience technical difficulties on our side, an alternate class will be scheduled for you.
